Calmaro and Joseph deliver an excellent five-star performance at Badminton, finishing inside the top 20 in a hugely competitive field.
Calmaro stepped up to the famous Badminton track again this year and delivered a confident, classy performance across all three phases.
We were delighted with how he produced his test in the dressage arena, scoring inside the top 25 in difficult conditions. Cross country was the highlight — a foot-perfect round with great rhythm and intent, picking up just a few time penalties on a track designed to ask serious questions of horse and rider.
On show jumping day Calmaro jumped beautifully, finishing on a result that puts us inside the top 20 for the year. A huge thank you to Mrs. J. Donnelly for her continued support and to the whole team back home for getting him here in such fantastic form.
